What's the minimum age to work as a fashion intern?

I like fashion, but I don't really want to get a job in fashion, but I just want to do it for fun. Do you have to be like really fashionable to become an intern in Teen Vogue, Elle, Bazaar, and magazines like that? I'm really good in academics?
