Subletting from a Camden council tenant 6 mths.where do i stand ,they may return or they may stay in there new

i am on that council list since 2006.what are my rights.Could i be left homeless???Thanks for any advise.I am single and the property would be part furnished.The rent and council tax would be paid initially through incapacity benefit and income support,I dont know if that is relevent but put it in anyway.
