Ranching, horses, cattle?

It's a nice dream...don't let anyone rain on your parade. If you want to work on a ranch, then by all means do it. There are plenty of places out west that use husband/wife teams to work the ranch. You might try places like Wyoming and South Dakota. My aunt and uncle relocated to Wyoming and found a beautiful house. All they had to do was take care of the cattle (there were a couple thousand head). They had to make sure the fences were repaired, the calves were branded and a whole lot of other things. If this is your husband's dream too, then I would suggest you google ranch hands or something similar and see what you can find. Good Luck. Your parents are selfish and just want to keep you nearby. I can identify with that problem. It's your life now...enjoy it. Be a little selfish, because you deserve the best in life and being happy in your job is part of the best in life.
