Im going to get my permit soon?

Well im getting my permit soon after the winter season and my mom says once i get it we can start worring about getting a car i dont know what kind of car is a good starter car im not looking for anything fancy because a new driver is most likely to get into a car reck so if i do i want something that i wont be to pissed off about but i still want a nice looking stylish car, any ideas? it would be really helpful if you could, please and thanks.
