Horrifying dream.. please help!?

I had a dream that i saw this crowd of people gathering for there was a headless body hanging in a post or tree. and my family and i got into this boat, for we had to go somewhere and we have to take a boat to get there. the waters didn't seem clear or muddy to me. i guess it was just neutral. what do these means?
