Who has had varicose veins?

I have always had one on my inner part of my right leg it always gets worse when i'm pregnant but it's worse in my 2nd pregnancy.I saw the doctor last week she said it was ok and to put my legs up to rest it.has anyone got any advice for me and it itches some times.
